People can fall in love with sadness. That dull throb gives meaning. The tear becomes a lens through which all things weep. The frown is a shield. The pain; a well tended fire illuminating the rain.

singin’ in the rain,
So soft and melancholy,
about the loss of a name.

Your thoughts went to the question,
though you knew it was in vain.
You thought that they were comin’,
and goin’ insane.

Daily walkin’ in your rain world.
